The program was created in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic to help businesses understand and implement safety measures to reduce the likelihood of viral transmission. Our focus is on education and support for businesses and the public and we are working collaboratively with Pitkin County to deliver uniform services throughout the county.
Our Consumer and Employee Health Protection Specialists are available to investigate complaints and conduct routine site visits of businesses to assess compliance with current ordinances and Public Health Orders related to controlling the spread of COVID-19.

To report a violation of the Public Health Order or a community health concern related to COVID-19, please complete the Pitkin County Public Health complaint form. A City or County official will respond to your request within 2-3 business days.
