Responsibilities

The Capital Asset Department manages the City’s physical assets, including development of new facilities and infrastructure. We also maintain most City owned properties.

With a diverse set of project management experience and skills, our department is a centralized project management team. The City’s capital projects vary greatly in scale, scope and character.

The building maintenance division is responsible for over 60 sites. This includes most City owned facilities, such as the following (and more):

  • City Hall (the Armory)
  • City Owned Housing
  • Main Street Cabin (Old Mountain Rescue)
  • Old Powerhouse / Art Museum
