Fill Station Program
Fill Station Program - January 1 through December 31, 2020
For the 2020 Right of Way Season, we have one fill station located at 76 Service Center Road.
As always, make sure equipment is properly maintained, air gaps have been inspected by a licensed inspector, and have current Fill Station Permit visibly displayed at the time of fill. You MUST have a valid permit for authorized use of the Fill Station. Please make sure to review the documents fully below prior to using our new digital fill station system.
The usage charge for filler hydrant water usage will be $25.00 per visit and is added to charges for actual water usage. Water usage is charged at $15.00 per 1000 Gallons. Payment will be monthly. Please call 970-920-5110 with questions.
Required Documentation for Permits
The City of Aspen Water Department is accepting applications for filler hydrant permits
Applicants are required to email the completed permit application packet (pdf format) to Karen at email@example.com. Make sure to attach all required forms in your packet (2020 Fill Station Permit Application, Permittee Required Contact Information Form, a copy of the completed Air Gap Verification for Mobile Applications).
Once your permit is approved, you will receive an emailed copy of your approved permit, as well as your individual access ID and PIN. Your company MUST retain a signed, approved copy of the permit packet in each of the your company vehicles that are used to connect and fill from the filler station.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the Local Disaster Emergency related to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have temporarily suspended air gap inspections at the Water Department campus for the duration of the “Stay-at-Home-Order” for the safety of our Utilities Team and of your company’s employees. You are welcome to use a certified tester of your choosing to perform your air gap inspections.
