Sustainable Events

Aspen is home to more than 30 annual events attended by approximately 40,000 people. Special events are the face of Aspen to many locals and visitors and demonstrate our environmental values.

Visit our Host an Event page to determine if your event will require a permit and what those permit requirements will be.

If your special event requires a permit you will need to:

• All events on City of Aspen property must comply with criteria outlined in the ZGreen Event Checklist that you will fill out as part of the permit application process.
