Reusable Bag Resources

Reusable Bag Programphoto Environmental health bag bank

In May of 2012, the City of Aspen decided to conserve resources and to reduce waste and litter by banning the free distribution of single-use plastic bags from our local grocers.

Although shoppers can pay a $0.20 fee for the use of a disposable, recyclable, and compostable paper bag, shoppers are encouraged to use reusable bags or no bags at all.
