Who wouldn’t want to come to Aspen in autumn to play in a rugby tournament with clean fresh mountain air on a full sized well-manicured pitch in the center of town surrounded by beautiful mountains? The Gentlemen of Aspen are hosting the 52nd Annual Ruggerfest at Wagner and Rio Grande Parks. Viewing is free and open to the public.

Aspen's C4C 10K Race showcases a unique route on various trails, bike paths, and sidewalks around Aspen and has become an off-season highlight for many local runners. The race will benefit the Caring For Community Fund. The Caring for Community fund is dedicated to serving communities from Aspen to Parachute through the funding of organizations which help facilitate a strong, healthy, supportive and productive community. To this end, grants will be focused on organizations providing community members support in times of critical need and allowing them the opportunity to fulfill their potential.

Runners from across the US will descend upon Aspen, Colorado to participate in the much anticipated Golden Leaf Half Marathon. Chosen by Trail Runner Magazine as one of “America’s 14 Most Scenic Races” and Colorado Runner Magazine as the “Best Half Marathon” in 2008, the Golden Leaf is one of the most beautiful foot races in the Rockies. In the height of the picturesque fall colors of Colorado, the Aspen Trees will guide runners on this challenging course from Snowmass to Aspen. The course traverses from Snowmass Village to Aspen on mountain trails and roads with fabulous mountain views.
