Intersect Aspen (formerly Art Aspen) returns to the Aspen Ice Garden from August 1-5. Intersect Aspen is Aspen’s first and only fine art show for important contemporary art. Limited in size to 30-40 dealers, this intimate and impeccably designed setting provides fairgoers an elegant and manageable viewing and buying experience. It is the ideal setting for both art dealers and art collectors to meet and mingle while experiencing the most dynamic marketplace for important art, ranging from 1950 – present.
Event is open to the public with an entrance fee.

The City of Aspen is pleased to produce its 9th Annual Backcountry Marathon and Half Marathon. The start and finish for both distances will be at Rio Grande Park. Spectators welcome!

2021will mark the 23rd season of the Aspen Saturday Market. The market offers Colorado grown produce, crafts, live music and various prepared food items. Attendance is free and open to the public with approximately 2000-5000 attendees on a flow basis each Saturday.

Ducky Derby- Aspen Highlands 8/14
Join the Rotary Club of Aspen as this year's Ducky Derby is re-imagined with a yellow ball roll down Aspen Highlands Thunderbowl. This family-friendly event will feature live music, a silent auction, food and drink from the Highlands Alehouse and youth group booths offering games and activities. This event is the club's largest annual fundraiser and supports local youth groups, community non-profits, the high school scholarship program and international projects.

This year’s Annual Community Picnic and Kids First Children’s Fair will be held at Red Brick. In addition to lawn games and a BBQ dinner (available for first 750 people), the event will feature a small children’s fair. The fair will feature free activities with lots of resources including health screenings, safety information and community resources.
