  1. Monthly Castle Creek Bridge/Hallam Street Project Update

    The Castle Creek Bridge / Hallam Street Improvement Project team invites the community to participate in a monthly project update meeting occurring at 4 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of every month in the Sister Cities room at City Hall. Each meeting will cover upcoming work schedules and traffic impacts. Following the meetings, there will also be a conference call recap at 5 p.m. Conference Call Information: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/315961749 You can also dial in using your phone: +1 (646) 749-3122 Access Code: 315-961-749 Meeting Dates: 4/25, 5/23, 6/27*, 7/25, 8/22, 9/26, and 10/24 *The June 27 meeting will just be the conference call at 5 p.m. On July 25, there will also be an 11 a.m. session.   2. Golden Leaf Half Marathon

    September 22, 2018, 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM @ Snowmass Village to Koch Lumber Park

    Runners from across the US will descend upon Aspen, Colorado to participate in the much anticipated Golden Leaf Half Marathon. Chosen by Trail Runner Magazine as one of “America’s 14 Most Scenic Races” and Colorado Runner Magazine as the “Best Half Marathon” in 2008, the Golden Leaf is one of the most beautiful foot races in the Rockies. In the height of the picturesque fall colors of Colorado, the Aspen Trees will guide runners on this challenging course from Snowmass to Aspen. The course traverses from Snowmass Village to Aspen on mountain trails and roads with fabulous mountain views. The trail can be narrow and steep at times with elevation gains of 970 feet peaking at 9,400 feet in elevation.

  3. Stirling Cup All Star Weekend

    The 18th Annual Stirling Cup All Star Weekend is in memory of the late Stirling Cooper and is a fundraiser for the Aspen Junior Hockey Scholarship Fund. Saturday's hockey game will feature the 1998 Olympic Gold Medal Women's Hockey Team. Sunday's Golf tournament is open to the public with registration through Aspen Junior Hockey.
