At a public hearing on Monday, March 26,
City Council will be reviewing a proposed Land Use Code Amendment in Ordinance No. 6, Series of 2018. While relatively minor in scale, the amendment proposes important changes to the Non-Conformities, Variances and Mountain View Plan Review sections of the code. Specifically, the proposed amendments to Non-Conformities and Variances change the timelines and deadlines to be more consistent, and require submission rather than issuance of a building permit to meet established deadlines. Secondly, a surveying error in a previous amendment to the view plane review established an incorrect base elevation for each of the established view planes.
