NEW CMP UPDATES

In an effort to improve the efficiency of submittals, the City of Aspen is allowing select projects to not have a Construction Mitigation Plan (CMP) submitted until the 2nd Round of review.  The new requirements will go into effect January 1, 2019.
 

Required at 1st Round
The following projects must submit a construction mitigation plan with
1st round submittals:
  • Landscape & Grading
  • ReRoof
  • Tenant Finish
  • Repair
  • Demo
  • EPIC
  • Interior Finish and Fixture Removal (IFFR)
  • As determined by City Staff per the individual conditions of each project
Required at 2nd Round
The following projects must submit a construction mitigation plan with or before 2nd round submittals:
  • New Residential
  • New Commercial
  • Phased Permits
  • Additions 
 
CMP Requirements
You must submit a CMP if any of the following apply:
  • Interior and/or exterior soil disturbance exceeding 1,000 square feet
  • Building structure disturbance exceeding 400 square feet
  • Change in ownership or contracting services
  • Modifications desired to an approved CMP
