    Saturday, September 18, 2021 | 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. 

    Drop off your personal e-waste for FREE! The drop-off location is Marolt Housing Parking Lot (100 Marolt Place, Aspen). Please stay in your car when dropping off your e-waste. 

    **We will not collect e-waste from businesses at this event. Business e-waste can be recycled for a fee with BlueStarRecyclers in Basalt. Contact Kevin Emory at or 720-415-0767. **

  1. Aspen Youth Center Aether Games

    September 18, 2021, All Day @ Rio Grande Park

    The Aspen Youth Center is hosting its 5th Annual Aether Games to benefit the AYC’s free after school and all day summer programming. Teams will pay a fee to participate in traditional field day games (e.g. 3-legged race, obstacle course, sack race, bouncy house, etc) with proceeds going to the AYC. Twenty teams of 5 adults will compete against each other for the championship belt.

  2. Golden Leaf Half Marathon

    September 18, 2021, 8:00 AM @ Snowmass Village to Aspen

    The 42nd Annual Golden Leaf Half Marathon Trail Run will once again take place on the Government Trail from Snowmass Village to Aspen. Participants will start in 6 waves, 5 minutes apart starting at 8:00am. Runners complete the course between 1 ½ hours to 3 ½ hours with approximately 75% of runners completing in just under 3 hours. This event will be challenging yet well supported with 3 Aid Stations along the route. By finishing in the heart of downtown Aspen, participants will be greeted by a crowd of spectators and supporters as well as the Golden Leaf Sponsor booths. Race is currently capped at 500 runners and is sold out.

  3. Aspen Saturday Market

    September 18, 2021, 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM @ Hunter, Hyman & Hopkins

    2021will mark the 23rd season of the Aspen Saturday Market. The market offers Colorado grown produce, crafts, live music and various prepared food items. Attendance is free and open to the public with approximately 2000-5000 attendees on a flow basis each Saturday.
